Imagine there's free exercise of religion & The free will to choose it or not,
It's easy if you try
Nobody restricting free speech
or the right to self defense
Imagine all the people
Living for what they determine to be best for themselves and their family...

Imagine stronger, more benevolent & free countries
It isn't hard to do
the threat of punishing military action
if others fail to live by the most basic principles of civilized society..
Imagine all the people
Living life with security & equal justice under the law...

Imagine if your possessions are actually yours
I wonder if you can
No need for lawsuits that go all the way to the supreme court
just to decide , you earned it..yea it's yours.
Imagine all individuals, choosing to serve their families, friends and communities
Sharing things voluntarily...

You may say I'm a realist
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will embrace common sense ,Freedom, sanity and personal responsibility.

Geopolitical theory: Drill China Drill ?

Maybe Obama is strategizing for an oil embargo and a blockade of the straits of Hormuz......as a sanction against Iran. Could it be that The Presidents reversal on "drill baby drill"  may be part of a deal for China's cooperation on sanctions, possibly an American replacement for lost Iranian oil? Maybe China will get preferential drilling contracts or special pricing on oil recovered off the east coast? Any thoughts?

As conservatives, we may not consciously realize that our future election victories hang mostly on the sanity and clarity of the nation itself. In the same way that the American left and a good portion of the western world can become hopelessly confused about very simple issues,  a sizable portion of the American electorate runs a similar risk.

        Fortunately , we on the Right, have one major advantage.... The simplicity of Truth. Most issues can be framed simply and elegantly. Place yourself on the correct side of the issue to begin with and gravity will do it's thing. 
       
          Do not fall into the trap of pseudointellectual acrobatic flips and twists when debating, this actually strengthens the methods employed by ivory tower academic liberals by legitimizing ambiguity. The most powerful approach is common sense, analogies, real life anecdotes, and references to actual history. We must always employ tactics of the universal principles of fairness, discipline, perspective and most of all common sense.  To own these principles, (like a party can own an issue such as taxes, Defense, education or social security) can and will produce fruits for generations to come.

     Most conservative positions arise out of realism, practicality and pragmatism.

     most liberal positions arise out of the need to defeat the afore mentioned, which will usually explain why their positions need to be complex, inconsistent and nuanced.


Oppose the Democrats when they are wrong, but it's equally important to oppose your own party when they are wrong.

For most of history, until the advent of modern social enlightenment.... peoples parents and grandparent were a respected part of their family, living in the same house, equal members, providing wisdom...at least until they needed round the clock care....the elderly are being shipped off to less interested parties at an alarming rate......, is this progress?

A charismatic man was hired by a good company with serious problems. He promised them he had the solutions. After a year's time and all the money anyone could dream of...somehow the problems got worse, as did the companies bottom line. He constantly reminded his bosses that he inherited the problems, so they continued to cut him a break.

After some time, they decided to research his work history and found something shocking. He had never solved any problems before and had no experience in business. In fact his history showed hostility toward profit and performance based pay. This puzzled his bosses, so they decided to ask him a few simple questions.

They asked him, why did you apply for this job if you don't agree with our mission statement ? He calmly and confidently replied, Your company has been imperfect..... Your mission statement is flawed, you make too much money and there are other companies out there that aren't doing as well.

The bosses asked, When were you going to tell us what you were up to. The man replied, Couldn't you tell, when I went to other companies and insulted you? how about when I apologized for your success, Increased company debt, demonized you as a meddler & polluter? what about when I gave big raises to loafers? insulted, then reduced your security staff, increased operating costs, ignored customer complaints, removed the cash registers and hired a staff who agreed with all of that. and beside that ....you never asked!

The moral of the story is ...Never embrace intelligence while ignoring motive.

Now that we've given up missile defense, ignored our generals in Afghanistan, appeased (soon to be) nuclear Iran,  gone on the magical apology tour, quadrupled the National debt, coddled Chavez, Khadafi, akma-whackjob, kin jung Il, Castro....who is it exactly, that likes us now?

The Democrat party has done many good things over the years, but recently has primarily become a cadre of groups who identify themselves by Skin color, Gender, sexual orientation, or folks who sympathize, based on victim status of those groups.....Therefore they always need a common perpetrator to rally against. In my opinion this does not promote color blindness, unity, justice or self reliance..... mostly division & perpetual victim hood.  obviously there are exceptional Democrats some are my best friends...it's just a trend I see

If this POST equals one million...then a billion would be a short NOVEL...a trillion is a LIBRARY.....does that help?
 
Our national debt has almost TRIPLED to 2.8 trillion in the last 8 months and projects a trillion a year for the next 10 years. Please reconsider what we're doing here.

That does not include Public health care.
