WISDOM = R.N.C should fight for Hispanic legals

  If I've ever said something wise it's this.....

       The time is now for The republicans and the R.N.C to fall over themselves at every opportunity to engage in a courtship for the LEGAL hispanic population.

        Never agree with their left wing on illegals but go out of your way ,(in a very public way) ,to help, encourage , honor,  invite them into the party and consider them for positions of power at each opportunity. And not just for a photo op, we need to do this early and often, perhaps with legislation that helps them in some way,  and that furthers all of our shared conservative ideals. 

         These folks are not just like us, in their moral philosophy....... THEY ARE US...... only under different circumstances 
       This also accentuates the proper distinction between what we are,  and what The proponents of illegal immigration say we are.

We can't always be against something , We have to be for something !!!!

If the Government Can't check it ......I ain't eatin it. The protections are laughable,The risk is great......... Make the law now, protect our families today and everyone will support it. ( except for corporate interests) you can increase trade in another area to make up for it.

Obama's Magical Sympathy Force Field

Obama is coming off like a sweet idealist teddy bear. The Clintons are finding it increasingly difficult to attack Obama without creating sympathy for him and that may carry over to republicans not being able to attack him in any serious way. Just a thought for republicans who are hoping to face him.

Strategy: Ask Them The Right Question

Don't ask them the question they prepared an answer for .......ask them a different question that will reveal the true answer to the question they prepared for.

Don't ask them If They will appoint originalist judges

Ask them why a judge should be an originalist.

Ask them Where the separation of Church and state appears in the constitution.

Ask them.....are there exceptions there are to the free exercise clause of the first amendment? ( and why)

Ask them if Roe v. Wade had an originalist outcome.


Don't ask them if they're against illegal immigration

Ask them if The Minutemen are vigilantes

Ask them what aid, beyond emergency and primary education, they support for illegals

ask them if a fence on the border is the product of racism ( there's only one answer)

Huckabee reincarnation of Bush?

                     He's like Bush........ but without all that pesky national security credibility !!!


Huckabee is an exciting prospect for the Dems... He's enough like Bush for the comparison to stick. He knows it and that's why he's distancing himself from Bush's foreign policy. The mistake in that approach, is that republicans aren't ticked at Bush for that reason...... it's illegal immigration and spending and compassionate conservatism where he seems to mirror George Bush... and he can't or won't distance himself there. Someone should ask Huckabee his philosophical position on churches providing sanctuary to illegals or Bush's comment that The minutemen were vigilantes. Do you remember that? This may reveal his true feelings.

The Clinton Machine /A Campaign On Steroids

The organizational strength of the Clinton political machine is by all accounts powerful and ruthless. Like an athlete bulked up on steroids, seems potent and competent at first but when it meets resistance it freaks out and batters anything or anyone in it's way. Obama's surge  is frustrating to them because they feel entitled to the victory, irrational tactics ensue...The Vast Clinton Conspiracy goes into action and rears it's ugly head, the one conservatives have seen all the while. People on both sides are tired of dirty tricks especially when we are trying to get accurate info for our primary vote. I guess the philosophy that pervades today in baseball and  politics   is,  "The ends justify the means".......a liberal approach that is as unwise today as it has ever been. My hope is that our collective wisdom will somehow gain from both of these examples of progressive modern thought.

Huck-a-boom or Huck-a- Bust?

       My gut feeling after reading , listening, and most importantly Thinking, is that good ole Mike Huckabee is another Bush style "compassionate" conservative. This will permeate the discussion by Christmas because many republicans are still sensitive to the failures of that style of leadership.
        
       I have outlined the dangers of not being able to answer critics, fight back politically, coddle illegals and tax and spend to alleviate "compassionate conservative" guilt. Someone needs to ask him about that illegal alien who took refuge in a church..... because i think he may find that to be acceptable. 

        I'm in the same boat as most Republicans, I'm not crazy about any of the candidates, I've gone back and forth, wanted a true conservative, thought  Duncan Hunter was one ,but he continues to be a non- factor. so I focus on the top tier reluctantly. 

         Romney seems intelligent and willing to fight but maybe too slick , Rudy is always willing to fight , not so slick but  what will he fight for after he gets elected ? Huckabee seems like a bleeding heart.....Thompson is more compelling as a tv character,

  When all is said and done........I would probably campaign for a Romney /Hunter ticket .....(maybe Rudy as attorney general.)

THE AMERICA SYNDROME

These days, conspiracy theories are everywhere and that's because many of today's events seem to be counter intuitive to common sense. When your instincts tingle, you must investigate further. A few things that intrigue me are.... illegal immigration, world trade, and our declining adherence to what used to be, solid American principles. Is this the result of greedy business folks or a larger more insidious inclination of worldists. I am starting to accept the latter theory.
 
        There have always been (money and power) hungry people in the world but in the past, they were for the most part, still loyal to the constitution and country. A large portion of the democrats are , at the very least ,sympathetic to socialism if not communism ......and a large portion of Republicans are inclined toward free trade or open borders. Both of these inclinations are slowly leading us away from sovereignty. The major impediment to a "world constituency" is the Constitution .
 
        Americans must remain American. Adherence to our Constitution ensures we remain distinct in the world. All of the soldiers the have sacrificed throughout our history , did so for The constitution...... not some silly putty america that we make up on the fly. The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves like boston market rotisserie chickens as secular humanists chip away at what America is, and even rewriting what we have been.
 
        I got news for you, AMERICA IS THE CONSTITUTION. That's why people all over this planet are not American until they come to this land and swear allegiance to the Constitution. The people have not changed, only what they will preserve and defend changes... and presto they become American...as much as you or me, Abe Lincoln,  J.F.K or George Washington. 


                 God Bless this amazing gift with which we have been endowed.
