THE INDEPENDENCE PROJECT :Everyone please read this

With the 4th of july coming we have an opportunity to have a 2nd Declaration of independence , Sometimes all an idea needs is a name to make it real , Bloggers please unite!!!! Please repost the title above and this text, so others can do the same.take it to myspace , email, and blog spots... This is a grass roots effort to start a non partisan project " THE INDEPENDENCE PROJECT " for energy independence. A project that asks all Americans to do their part. "Drill here, drill now, pay less"... 300 million dollars for a better car battery, Big incentives for realistic and effective solar and wind improvements, Gas , coal , nuclear and any other energy ideas all designed to reach real energy independence in the shortest amount of time possible. If each person reposts this idea, it will get media attention and you will have done your part as an American to give the ideas that we all have, what they need most right now.... A NAME !  If it works you'll have a story to tell your grandchildren.  ( at least post the title THE INDEPENDENCE PROJECT ) to help create interest.  Thanks,  Michael Cattell

Justice Stevens: A case in constitutional confusion

Most people owned a gun in the late 1700's. So why would justice Stevens make such a rediculous dissent. The reason that it took this long for a case to determine that the right to own a gun is a personal right, is because for most of our nations history this was common sense, If anyone of our founders thought like justice Stevens.... why didn't they show even the slightest concern about this individual liberty? They were however concerned about criminals violating personal rights of life , liberty and property. I've never heard any answer to the idea that criminals don't obey gun laws. Have you?  If criminals obeyed laws then we could simply outlaw Crime. Common sense is still alive in America, but it may possibly be on life support.

McCain: COSERVATIVES WANT GOOD JUDGES

If McCain wants Conservatives, he had better make supreme court openings a top issue, The constitution is our saving grace in these tough times.... It's constantly under attack by so called progressives. Countless millions have sacrificed to defend it throughout our history, we can't let them down. Think back to the 18 year old soldier 200 some years ago and also the one this year who willingly laid down his life for it, there is a perpetual trust and obligation they expected from us.... our only obligation is to protect it forever. When some one distorts it, it's a slap in the face to the fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters who took a bullet for it. They didn't die for ever changing standards or a silly putty document. Judges who revere our  nations founding and this amazing document, are best suited to fulfill the obligation bestowed on them by the blood of our nations bravest patriots. Don't drop the ball on this important election issue Mr. McCain.

Just like the Manhattan project..... McCain should announce The Independence project, A project to create energy independence A.S.A.P. As part of this initiative, announce that due to our nations economic slowdown and our unhealthy dependence on foreign fossil fuels, we will be making every effort to Drill here drill now, pay less and KEEP THE OIL HERE.... 300 million dollars for his battery improvement competition, Create similar incentives for solar and wind and whatever else will excite lefties. Crunch the numbers, tell people the truth, study and reveal the environmental risks and solutions and then , all you have to do is let Americans know what is needed and ask them to solve it... They will!!   Challenge American ingenuity to rise to the cause. As a nation with a focus, we never fail. As we become less dependent we will thrive and our enemies around the world will weaken. It will go a long way toward restoring American pride and nationalism.
