Obama had a tough time disowning his reverend, what about Black liberation theology itself. The answer would be amazing no matter what side he came down on. On one hand the theology itself is questionably racist at worst ,and foolish at best, and his support of it would disqualify him for the presidency. On the other hand if he rebukes it, his own community would have a seizure, and it would beg the question again, ...why he stayed there for 20 years. I would ask the question this way.....
"When you left your church, were you also leaving black liberation theology behind?
The question already assumes that he believes in the major philosophy of his own church.
Think about the possible answers and you'll see why I love this question. SOMEBODY PLEASE ASK HIM
