They're gonnna try to SCARE you...and they should.

McCain and Palin are not lawyers but a campaign is like a long closing argument. It would be insane to refuse to include these things in their closing argument about Obama.........Obamas history, relationships, tendencies, character, voting record and most importantly his SYMPATHIES.
If this continues, they're not serving the voter and they WILL lose.  When did these things become unimportant in a presidential election? When the Media sees McCain ignoring these dangerous qualities, it give them cover to ignore it as well. All of this stuff plus the issues of the day! ...wow..... I repeat, this is insane. whoever doesn't sound the alarm , will be held responsible for the damage Obama does if he gets elected.

McCain: It's death by a 1000 cuts...Wake up idiots

There's one area that Bush and McCain are the same, neither one knows how or is willing to play good honest politics. They take a licking and ignore the reality of political damage and misinformation. If they don't fight back and correct the record on a daily basis, then you suffer death by a thousand cuts. Just like Bush and his 37 % approval rating. The Dems are lying about everything and getting away with it. When will we get a fighter.??????????

LET SARAH BE SARAH, NOT LITTLE McCAIN

I think a better approach for the v.p. debate would be to let her answer with her instincts and common sense, if her answers differ from McCain policy she can clarify that he's the boss and she's working for him... but people deserve to know about her judgement and sensibilities. She'll answer more smoothly and with clarity and conviction if she's using her own intellect and not worrying about McCain's talking points. This is sound advice and The McCain campaign should heed it.

Economics: When CONSERVATISM Becomes DOGMA

My Conservative principles are based entirely on my own common sense. When conservatism becomes Dogma, without thought or intelligent pragmatism, a doctrine that can be read from Reagan's diaries and apply to any situation from here to eternity,  it ceases to be true conservatism. Case in point, If your principles cause inaction, and the collapse of the economy, they are of no use to the security of your own nation. I am starting to believe that the only answer to 10 solid years of this insane socialist policy is not going to resemble conservatism. There is no precedent for this.

It's like someone who takes good care of them self  and vows never to take medicine, because they don't need it, They get a disease from an unhealthy neighbor and never adjust their thinking. Their behavior didn't  cause the problem.... but now the problem is so far out of hand that they have to do something that they otherwise would not do. It's time to take our medicine, or we may become fatally ill.  The most important things to seek in this economic debate are oversight, fairness, and something all conservatives understand.....Profit.    If we focus on those 3 things we can make this work.

Who should manage Our new Portfolio, Warren?

Maybe Warren Buffett, should manage the taxpayers new found investments, he seems to have a grasp on making money. Shaky mortgages today maybe liquid tomorrow. I hope we're getting a good deal on these things. Is it possible that this is the best time to buy these dogs. Either way we should treat this like a portfolio and try to make a profit. Anything short of that would be more of the same.Step up Warren and save your country like you saved yourself.

F.B.I to hit hard on Fanny cronies

The F.B.I is investigating over 20 firms and political cronies for their roles in our current banking troubles. Obamas economic advisers it seems would be prime targets for their deceptive accounting practices. Just maybe the chickens are coming home........to roost. Franklin Raines, Johnson, Gorelick, Reno, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Obama, and the rest have betrayed the public trust to the tune of over a hundred million bucks. Time to pay the piper. I just hope that some preliminary findings are released in time to serve the voters in this crucial election. Sometimes damaging info is held back till after an election. I still think Obama is up to his ears in this thing.

November surprise ?

If McCain has a November surprise, they better have it ready for mid-October. Obama is the only candidate in American history that could survive a big scandal. Leftist leanings, radical friends, no experience, anti-American comments, questionable unethical deals,  were all ignored in droves. My advice is to wait for signs of "The Biden replacement move" ( maybe around Oct13th or so)... Then toss it out there to freeze "The female replacement" from jumping right in. Then immediately go hard for a week with "Dems for McCain"..... because Obama might choose to replace Biden with another female, not hillary. The point is to rock them back on their heels at the exact time they are making their big move.

Political Malpractice

If the McCain campaign can't capitalize on the Democrats who are supporting him, they're committing political malpractice. In fact they never officially asked Dems for their vote. I thought for sure he was going to do it at the convention, when he had everyone's attention. Many republicans are not comfortable when McCain talks about Dems in his cabinet, or brags about fighting with his own party.. but this helps his chances in November. In politics "a vote's a vote". McCain will always be McCain no matter how he gets elected. We will be kicking his "you know what" for the next 4 years, And I'll be grateful at this point, to have that opportunity. When you're running against an inexperienced, leftist, socialist.....You have to exploit the reluctance of Dems to get behind their own ticket. .....Seems like a no brainer to me

Maverick, reformer and you can add WATCHDOG

It seems that Obama is more effectively grabbing the mantle of Watchdog than McCain. I warned The McCain campaign to get out in front on this bailout stuff immediately, Once again they were a little slow. That's unacceptable. You Are supposed to be the Reformer, Prove it!!
Make sure the taxpayer is protected in this dust up. If  the 700 billion dollar solution leaves room for corruption, pork, no accountability, cronyism  and fuzzy accounting again, that will be grounds for a taxpayer revolt. I don't ever use words like revolt or revolution, but this is our money they're playing with. Please get this right....I don't feel like justifying  a conservative mistake for the next 20 years.

McCain's 2nd Game Changer

McCains brilliant move # 2....I am proposing that McCain should create a high profile televised forum of the top 10 dems for McCain. Hype it and get it on a major network. Does anyone know a McCain operative?

THE EMPEROR FORUM ( from the fable about the naked emperor)
This could be the format:   5 minute each to make their case for McCain and then 20 minutes of round table. The ratings would be through the roof, and would be hailed as McCains brilliant move # 2.

BREAKING NEWS: RACE IS ACTUALLY CULTURE

I thought this was worth sharing..from my post in reply to Thomas Sowell about Race.

"Thomas,
Aside from the relatively few true racists who's judgments are really based on melatonin levels, most of what's discussed these days about racism is actually about culture. It seems that most people are unaware of this crucial fact. When a discussion proceeds from a gross misunderstanding, it will almost never produce fruits. If this correction is made, then every topic becomes fair game. Maybe race is simply used as an intellectual road block, to stifle genuine debate over cultural and identity, and the effect it can have on a peoples social condition.

Young conservatives are learning a lesson

Some of you are learning a valuable lesson, don't miss this opportunity to get wiser... You'll have to learn this eventually anyway.

1. You can abstain from voting....
2. vote for a 3rd party candidate
3. complain about a candidate, hurt him, possibly convince others not to vote for him, and then vote for him anyway.......( the most foolish choice of them all)
4. figure out who you'll be voting for now, by using your intellect, and help him win.

Please think about these choices ...are there other choices I'm missing?

Hey Sarah Palin : What we expect from a maverick

If you and McCain don't step up and protect the taxpayer in this situation then you're probaly not the mavericks you think you are .Now that we own all of these bargain mortgages and other things, Will there be transparency? Who will manage our new venture ? Will the taxpayers get a statement of our profits, will the profits be off limits to other government agencies, A real maverick would make a big deal about these things. You and McCain owe it to us to proove you are, who you say you are. What a wonderful opportunity for you to put your money where your mouth is.

Now that the taxpayers own the private sector....

Should we be getting some bang for our buck?, will we reap some appreciation? with a future improvement in housing costs, will we make a windfall, maybe eliminate the national debt ? Or just create another lockbox for greedy politicians to stick their hands in. I personally want a quarterly statement showing the taxpayers profits as we recover.  Is there an upside? I'm not an economics major, so your comments are welcome.
