Imaginary Money from your house

The Dems in congress, under the foolishness of social justice, created a situation where banks were forced to make mortgage loans to people who couldn't afford to pay them back.. just another example of liberal good intentions leading to miserable failure for the rest of us.
A few years back my unwise Dem friends were jumping for joy at their home value increases...I raised the red flag then, everyone ignored it.

All that appreciation you were so excited about on your real estate value was never there. Creative bankers and wall street types invented imaginary investment products based on that increase and projected appreciation from that imaginary value. All of it  was non existent and now we wonder how far it could fall... take a look for yourself, the logical conclusions you will draw from this graph are pretty scary...and no ones telling you about it!

Here's the link to the graph ( adjusted for inflation)

UNFRIENDLY BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

O.K. let me get this straight, We want to create or protect jobs,  we want innovation and economic strength and above all else fairness....do I have this correct?

Then why the hell are we attacking the engines of job creation ?, no really , I want an explanation.
Why are we attacking the creation of wealth?
Who would Invest in or lend money in this environment.
Why do we want to increase taxes on those who already pay more than half of all taxes.

Does anyone think there will be more innovation...more growth... more consumer spending, more fairness... I guess if we're all poor and devoid of economic liberty, then at least we'll be equal. The profound foolishness of what we're doing is hard to grasp.

People ! please understand... The president is speaking  to 2 audiences,

the first is the half informed populace ( using words that work), and the other are the idealogues of social justice (socialists). His actions are not consistent with the first message...but completely consistent with the second.

This deception is very dangerous and totally intentional...and compounded by the Presidents Communication skills.

The answer is to create a business friendly environment.. This benefits anyone who wants to work, innovate or buy something. Once again common sense!!!

A Party No Longer in Peril

As our party purges the albatross of directionless moderates, a new Age of reason is ushered in. We confidently re-connect with and re-embrace the self evident principles of our founding documents.

The common sense, personal responsibility and ingenuity that sustained an entire nation for 2 and a half centuries are the same attributes that nurture individuals and families as well. This too is self evident by the fact that people of all political persuasion, when given the opportunity, wisely employ these elements in their own lives.

Let us be resigned to exercise the muscles of faith... not only as it applies to the creator, but also to the wisdom of our founding fathers and the giants who shoulders they stood on. Wise philosophers throughout time have left us  the gifts of  their discoveries, they have shared them for the benefit of mankind.

One only needs a little common sense to understand wisdom. That's the beauty of it... It's accessible to all.......

Common sense is nothing more than the instinctive acceptance of simple truths.  Redmeat& cigarettes 2009

Asian Markets tanked today

Every Asian market  fell straight into the crapper today. The recent  days may be bearing out my momentum theory. from my "Dow 5000" post. If my instincts are correct, an unprecedented crash or dive should occur within a few weeks... setting off a chain reaction of economic events leading to severe unconstitutional actions by the federal government.

The cure seems to be the sickness, to quote Glen Beck. The laws of supply and demand are being held hostage by a psychological attack on natural American confidence. This attack is partly intentional and partly by accident. The intentional aspect is the left's attempt to atone for the guilt of 230 years of economic and military greatness, by attempting to "back door" socialism upon the masses.

The accidental part is from those who attempt to protect us from panic by misleading us, or simply by omission of clear explanations. I still refer to all of this as "A controlled Crash". In the words of the Talking Heads... This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin around.

We may be on the verge of something big,  please plan for the worst. If nothing further happens... I'll be thrilled that I'm wrong..... Thanks for reading.

Are you prepared for an Accelerating world ?

Things happen so quick these days that we may not recognize America..... maybe sooner than you think. Acceleration is the word of the times, this applies to politics , economics and culture. People are being conditioned to accept faster change by things like the internet, 24 hour news cycles and constant connection to media sources. The quantity of news sources is not the problem, it's the content and bias. .

Without the solid principles of honesty and wisdom, this new trek becomes a fairly high risk experiment..... Our common sense becomes a crucial firewall, and the bonds we create for a common cause, become a new support system.

Make local connections, establish trust with people of character...Because if the economy crashes hard, chaos will likely ensue and this time it won't cure itself quickly....it will change our culture permanently. You'll need durable goods , long term food , and the means to defend yourself and your family.

In this scenario, you can't depend on Government to protect you... look what happens when there's a riot or national disaster, they always have their hands full, even in a small crisis..... Now multiply that by 3000 cities and towns.

I'm not saying this stuff will happen but would you be ready if it did?

Fascism will come wearing an Armani suit and a Rolex watch

An uninformed electorate and a government willing to take advantage of them , is all you need to create any form of government you wish.

Conspiracy theories vs Seeking truth

A conspiracy theorist takes a small piece of information and draws grand, complex conclusions............a truth seeker see many pieces of evidence and draws simple conclusions..........Redmeat & cigarettes 2009

The  many pieces of evidence reveal a few simple things:

1. Very serious problems are coming and government officials are keeping us in the dark, to prevent panic "for our own protection"

2. Some people are taking advantage of a serious situation to advance socialism.

3. The lessons from our founding fathers are being intentionally distorted or ignored  to prevent the proper solution.

Protect yourself and your loved ones....be prepared for anything.
Know you constitution.....it will come in handy.

Dow 5000 ?It's likely

There was a time in the recent past when I thought Dow 7200 would be the bottom...today we are at 7465. Now After playing out a realistic scenario in my mind, I think the rules of  bottoms and tops don't apply. What may be more realistic is a momentum theory. The more it goes down from here the more dire the situation will appear to investors.
Hypothetically, if the Dow dropped 300 points tomorrow, do you think there would be a rebound the following day ( like under normal bear markets) ? I fear not. A good analogy is a sinking ship...When a ship bobs up and down , it's not news.....but when it sinks to a certain point and starts to take on water, no one considers staying on board. Even though the ship is still a float, it's fate is kind of sealed.

The rooms however are kind of cheap at this point.
The few that stay and look for bargains are not able to bail out the water .

The problem with collectivism

The problem with collectivism is that you have to force a lot of people to participate. This is clearly immoral. In a free society people can voluntarily form collectives. It seems obvious that this is fair to everyone. I am shocked that I even need to explain this very simple concept. I think the bottom line is Liberty and what role it plays in American society. I contend that Liberty is crucial, and non negotiable in this regard. When it comes to taking care of each other, we should always be free to decide when, where why and IF.

It truly is self evident.

Billionaire Socialist: Accidentally revealing his plans?

Billionaire socialist describes his ideas about conservatives and reveals his own sick view of the world. When he goes on and on about deception and New Speak , It sounds an awful lot like Obamas recent techniques. This billionaire socialist is the architect of the recent democrat gains. Watch this video and see where he may have got his ideas from.

Why Obama thinks he's Lincoln

Soon we'll be breaking ground on The Giant Obama Statue in Washington D.C.

Watching Obama speak about lincoln leaves me with this nagging feeling. My theory is that he pictures his coming struggle over socialism and injustice as Lincoln's struggle over slavery. Speeches and P.R. don't happen in a vacuum. For example, if you became president would you spend so much time comparing yourself to Jimmy Carter or FDR, obviously not.

I think he is clearly aware of the disunion that would occur over his plans to socialize our nation. If you play this scenario out to it's logical conclusion...the result would be disastrous.

I just watched President Obama's Lincoln speech from earlier this week, keeping this theory in mind, and was a bit chilling....He refers to lincoln's omnipetent treatment of confederate soldiers at the end of the war, but it almost had the same feel as when he talks about working with Republicans despite their electoral defeat. In Obama's scenario, Slavery is unbridled Capitalism. In one speech he confidently refers to lincoln's greatness as a progressive.......So , why else would a democrat -liberal socialist be so obsessed with a great common sense Republican Emancipator.

I only hope that after the Strife is over and the constitution is rewritten and then we become worldy socialists......I can have the pleasure of going back to my job and becoming a worthy contributor to the cause of social justice. Maybe I'll get to help build The Giant Obama Statue in Washington D.C.

Here's the speech i was referring to

The Modern Defenders of liberty

Even the above title sounds like a page from the history books,
We need to stand strong and defend our nation. When the time comes, our challenges will be no greater than those at Gettysburg, Bunker hill or the many battles of the Cold War.

Millions have given the ultimate sacrifice even on foreign soil, to defend liberty for Americans and non- Americans.

Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death"

Nathan Hale said, "I regret that I have but one life to give for my country"

These Patiots are not dusty old memories, they are alive in the genetics of the patriotism and liberty we have inherited.

Every one of us has pledged allegiance to this nation a few thousand times.. and you know what ....I meant it every time. I will never give up on The country I love. It truly is worth dying for.
God forbid it ever comes to that, for the current guardians of this precious flame.

Braille Billboards

Arguing for the Democrat spending bill is like arguing for braille billboards, I can make 20 compassionate arguments for why we should have them... but only one argument why we should not.... because they don't work!

strawmen prepare a dish of red herring

President Obama is seen as an articulate , intelligent and clean politician. One thing that I am starting to notice is his artful dishonesty. Anyone who intentionally frames a debate in a deceitful way is dangerous. especially when he's the leader of the free world.

He constantly frames the stimulus debate as doing nothing as opposed to doing exactly what Dems propose.
He attempts to look as if he's working with republicans and then ridicules their ideas, describing them as failed ideas of the past.

I think he is completely aware of the ignorance of  the bulk of his supporters, and takes advantage of this whenever he can. his loyal flock is not even sure who the vice president is...pretty scary!

When he refers to blind idealism , he is only referring to the G.O.P.

This tactic of duplicity is designed to disarm conservatives, not liberals......disarm and attack in the same breath...backhanded compliments etc.
I wanted to trust him but he has proven to be a partisan...a more skillful partisan than most of his peers. Describing the stimulus bill as pork-free is technically correct but practically speaking, pure deceit. He is counting on the ignorance of the majority of the electorate.

This has the result of squandering away much of the good will that I had for him. Dishonesty as a way of doing business is unacceptable, even more so in a time of crisis and with the largest spending program in American history. The cult of personality is flourishing in the Democratic party as it always has.

Ours shall be a culture of priciples, wisdom and intellectual honesty.

Bush-Obama Style spending

I think history will show Bush and Obama have more in common domestically than Bush and the Republican party. We should link The Dems and President Bush in their spending style, at every opportunity. The comparison is well deserved. They often point to him when justifying mind boggling spending. The truth is that Liberals are never really offended by massive spending and waste. It's only fitting that they are tied forever to the president that they were  so obsessed with. I think it would be a wonderful irony.
