McCains lethargy lets Obama Back in the energy game

McCain dropped the ball on claiming the energy mantle. For some reason the McCain campaign believes in half hearted communication, kind of like The Bush Administration. We all know about the less than stellar communications of our current administration, but why is McCain following in those footsteps. Although I love the two recent ads about Obama, ("celeb" and "The One") , The ability to cement an issue seems to elude the campaign. McCain needs to State his unequivocal  positions early and often until they are clear to everyone especially those who don't follow politics closely). His problem is less about the message and more about method. The fact that McCain has a comprehensive energy plan with a name and a website and all the trappings, but no one knows about it, is proof of my theory. The fact that Obama feels comfy getting into the Oil drilling column, shows that Mcain has left space for him there. Claim your stake, firmly and loudly, and Obama will look even more ridiculous trying to play catch-up. If you need advice on how to do this, just follow your own communication strategy on national security and the military surge... we all know where you stand on that!! Be firm, be smart, and claim your stake!........."You're welcome" John.

WIKIPEDIA NEEDS OBAMA EXPERTS

Not much information is available on Wikipedia about Obama's early life and career. Information is needed about his early mentors and the books and thinkers of that time that he claims most influenced him. I am currently researching all of this and plan to read the Obama nation this week or next. If you have already read it, please share some of the well sourced info with Wikipedia. Many people go there for accurate info. so you'll be doing everyone a good service.

Book: The Obama Nation

After listening to the author on two different radio interviews, I am more convinced than ever that all of my gut felt instincts about obam have been spot on. I won't bother to rehash what is in this book but i will say that it seems to be painstakingly sourced and footnoted. if you have the opportunity to check it out, i think you'll find that Obama is most definitely the product of radical socialist mentoring, even until recently. I think it would be interesting for someone to do a comprehensive study of all of the pro-American comments Obama has made before 2006 and then after 2006...I have a suspician that his pro-American comments previous to his campaign , will be a short list....But it would speak volumes about his anti-American slant.

Tick off the good things obama has said about other counties and  foreign leaders and enemies....Then say " Theres one country Obama is sometimes embarrassed by, one country he thinks has a shameful past, one country who's imperialist ways have brought sorrow to the underdeveloped world.... and then just leave it hanging.... let the viewer answer the question in their own mind......and it will stick there because they arrived at the answer on their own.

Leftist Leaning is a fair description and a good buzzword

The term "leftist leaning" is a fair and accurate way to describe Obama, Any conservative blogger or talking head should do your readers a service and use this term liberally, His sympathies are well documented and voters have a right to an accurate portrayal. It's not how the Obama campaign or the mainstream media wants him to be seen, but they don't decide what the truth is, his record and associations are a more accurate portrayal. So be honest and don't back down!

DID OBAMA EVER RENOUNCE BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY?

I Like this question because it may explain much of his socialist leanings. His campaign has no acceptable answer for his 20 year involvement in this theological-political movement. Unlike his reverend, B.L.T is not the rantings of one grumpy old racist... it's a philosophy and a world view. He has been surrounded by radicals inside and outside of his church for most of his life. As an electorate, we can not ignore everything he's ever done, stood for and voted on, then simply adopt as fact just the things he's said since he's been campaigning. I think the mistake many of Obama's opponents make, is declaring that he MAY be an extremist....This may be true but hard to prove and convey to some. What may be more effective is to firmly and confidently state that he is DEFINITELY sympathetic to Extremists.. including violent ones. When you look at him through this prism everything about him seems to make more sense and resonate with this fact.

Some in the media are hailing Obama's world tour as a tour of duty and service, I plan to speak truth to power, aside from the obvious disrespect to our military......The service is clearly directed toward his political fortunes.This is clearly displayed by the fact that after he spends 24 hours at each location  he must tie everything up with the neat little bow of his armchair summations of each countries problems and his solutions. If this were a true fact finding mission or a listening tour, he would not have to take a public speaking oral quiz on what he learned. Who else has ever done this. looks more like an audition for a Hollywood  movie than a real attempt to learn something, it's kind of embarrassing.

JOURNALISTS: One question Obama can't answer

Obama had a tough time disowning his reverend, what about Black liberation theology itself. The answer would be amazing no matter what side he came down on. On one hand the theology itself is questionably racist at worst ,and foolish at best, and his support of it would disqualify him for the presidency. On the other hand if he rebukes it, his own community would have a seizure, and it would beg the question again, ...why he stayed there for 20 years. I would ask the question this way.....

 "When you left your church, were you also leaving black liberation theology behind?

The question already assumes that he believes in the major philosophy of his own church.

Think about the possible answers and you'll see why I love this question. SOMEBODY PLEASE ASK HIM

Al Gore is the Jimmy Swaggart of global warming religion

Bad acting, exaggeration, and sheer hypocrisy, all of this is bad enough from your average politician, but it is a mortal sin from the leader of such a large flock. Al Gore has always felt to me, like one of those televangelists, who's concerns are invented purely selfish purposes. There are times when I am beside myself trying to understand why intelligent friends of mine don't see this obvious duplicity.If the laws of physics apply equally to Al and Jimmy, then Al should be secretly eating large steak dinners while watching one of his multiple big screen tvs in his highly  climate controlled mansion, and often ride on private jets and large S.U.Vs. There are people who after witnessing this with their own eyes, would stand in pure denial of this hypocrisy. That my friends is a kind of sickness. I am anxiously waiting for that Swaggart Crying episode to confirm my theory.

Common sense would dictate that if Obama kept saying a 16 month timetable was his plan, eventually that time frame would become more acceptable and possibly coincide with reality. I predict you will breathe soon, see , I was right. The closer we get to actually withdrawing troops based on conditions, Immediate withdraw would seem O.K as well. We may very well have most of the troops home by March of 2010, No thanks to Democrats. According to my calculations , if he keeps saying 16 months, The Presidents plan will have them home sooner.  During his whirlwind tour of the world....Obama has displayed a keen ability to state the obvious in a thoughtful sounding way.Who would have thought that a crash course in international affairs would be so well received by so many in respectable positions.

Why is Pickens doing McCains job?

Although I don't agree with Pickens exact plan, at least he is providing leadership. It's not too late for Mccain to put some of the best ideas together give it a good name and sell it to the American people. I don't understand his current strategy?????????

Give Energy Independence a "Name" and win the hearts and minds of the people, and also the election in November!
The only thing McCain needs to do to claim the Energy Independence mantle, is Give it a Name. Like the Manhattan project. Whoever does this 1st sets the agenda.  Maybe some of these names will work. Don't let the Dems get back in the game. do it now!!!!!

2008: The Great War Begins

Throughout history, wars have been fought primarily over land, natural resources and religion....and in Americas case, the principles of Freedom and liberty. It seems that today there is an uncanny confluence of 3 out of 4 of these causes. We could be witnessing  a perfect storm in the making. In this blog, I've been warning about a potential war with Iran. Let's follow a logical chain of theoretical events.  If Iran is attacked by Israel, this presents a serious problem for Syria, Hesbollah and Hamas. If Iran , their primary sponsor is at risk of being neutered, one could conclude that it would spell the beginning of the end for these 3 regimes. I think the result of this would be an all out attack on Israel, the likes of which we have never seen. If you can accept this premise, you have to take the next step and ask yourself, what effect this would have on America?

    A crippled Iran, an all out war in the heart of Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine, an American economy Shocked by astronomical increases in oil prices, The entire Arab world forced to take sides and countries like Russia and China weighing their strategic options in the face of world calamity. All of this is very possible... and frightening. If our recent problems with patriotic resolve are any indication of how we will react to such a situation, I am not totally encouraged. I do however reserve a place in my heart and mind that America can rise to any situation, this has been the case in the past, but are we the strong America of the past. Can we bring the Democrats back home to the party of  J.F.K......... I suppose we will all find out soon.

Obama: Please ignore everything i've ever done

Ladies and  gentlemen this election is truly making history.... but not in the way you think. We have the first candidate in American history who's history, associations, and record have been deemed irrelevant by major media outlets. This is insanity! If this strategy succeeds it will pave the way for future campaigns by good looking, well spoken politicians and actors who have no experience, bad ideas, no wisdom, and at worst dangerous agendas. Have we lost our collective minds ? These are consequential times, this is not hyperbole.... very serious global and domestic rapids are quickly approaching. Obama already has a difficult time navigating the more still waters of a campaign. We have come to expect missteps on his comments about each current event as they arise. A fair examination of his record and experience reveals that he is barely qualified for a cabinet position. Never stop pointing this out to anyone who will listen.

Devine Providence

        Ours is a nation capable of the highest achievement, a nation of doers, a nation with a perpetual purpose, a nation that has strived for freedom not only for ourselves but for the oppressed in the world as well. We do this not only in good times but also in challenging times.We are not boastful about being the strongest nation in the world because with this strength come an awesome responsibility. Our founders  through a strong commitment  to the creator ,Justice and freedom , have endowed us with the greatest gift of all... the gift of possibility, Their intention  was, to make it always possible to do the right thing. Through devine providence, our United States of America could weather any and all challenges simply by adherance to the Constitution, and the abiding pledge to defend it at all costs. Many  have payed  for this defense with their lives. And for this I am  humbled beyond words.  Thank you all for your sacrifice and service to this nation. I will be  forever grateful.
